Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
CAMHS teams provide specialist mental health services for children and adolescents between the ages of birth and 19 years (inclusive) with indicators of significant mental health problems.
WorkFirst is an integral part of supporting young people and their whanua in recovery. As I am sure you are aware there is a significant amount of research that shows one of the best ways to support people in their recovery is to support them in finding meaningful occupations. For young people this is often access work and/or further study.

All community mental health teams are filled with bright dedicated clinicians. What makes us different is that we actually like each other, so create a bright and positive work space. This allows for collaborative work and positive outcomes for our clients and their family.
Moū – About you
You will be a registered Occupational Therapist with the ability to provide an evidence based supported employment, education and career development. An up to date annual practicing certificate. Experience in mental health and as a WorkFirst consultant would be beneficial
